I had a reservation for Saturday and the place was beyond packed. Immediately walking inside you can hear the amount of people, very loud. On weekends there's also a live band so it just adds to the noise. The interior left me in awe, definitely resembles a speakeasy from a mafia movie. The tables have that classic white table cloth with the mini red lamp and are faced towards the musical act, very intimate and classic environment. The singer was extremely talented and played a lot of older classics that complimented with the atmosphere. We started off with the caesar salad, mussels, and eggplant parm. The salad is made right in front of you, somewhat gimmicky but the taste was refreshing. The mussels were slightly spicy and the eggplant parm was mushy as well as lacking flavor. The bread which was complimentary, came with several options such as a cheese loaf, which was warm and light. My entree was the chicken parm and they brought basically the whole chicken. The texture was crispy and the vodka sauce had a little kick, tasty. I chose a cosmopolitan which was strong but also somewhat sweet. Overall, I would come back again just for the ambiance. The whole aesthetic inside is unlike anything else in Fort Lauderdale, cool for a date or to go with a group of friends. I would definitely recommend sharing entrees next time and one appetizer, or else you'll have leftovers for days.

Been perfection for many decades. Never disappoints. Chopped Salad, big Meatballs, Bronzino, Filet. Always great Martinis and wines. Great entertainment. Felt like being in a Hollywood Super Club. Sooo Chic & Cheerful

Went to celebrate my birthday. Must reserve way in advance if you want to sit in the main room to see the band, which by the way has you dancing in your seat because they sing and play great music. Some people get up repeatedly to dance which is fun. I will be honest, it's a very loud place, you can barely hear your waiter or have conversations so be aware!!! The food portions are large and is a La cart, you can share most all the items. If you want a quieter space don't sit in the main room. The bar is awesome but lots of people stand around it waiting to be seated. My reservation was for 8:15 but we waited to just about 8:45 to be seated. It was Saturday so it's the busiest night. This was my first time there. It's a place I would definitely go back for but maybe sit in one of the other rooms. It's a vibe! Everone at our party was better happy with our food and service. I had fun.

A must try ! We come all the time, best cocktails & food .. desserts are also to die for, ask for Matt to wait your table he is the absolute BEST!!! We come back for him too!

Anthony's Runway has become a frequent stop for us ever since our first visit. The food has been incredible every single time. The ambiance and atmosphere are fun and inviting. The service is on point each and every time. If you dine here you have to request Matt, he is by far the best server, and this is coming from restaurant owners ourselves. He truly adds to your dining experience at Runway and makes your time that more amazing!

So where to go for my birthday dinner? So many choices but I wanted to try the updated Runway 84 and it did not disappoint! Gone are all the airplane references from my previous review and in it's place you find yourself transported to an old school Italian supper club. We went early (around 6pm) and the bar was already full of people deep into their martinis. While I would have preferred to be seated in a quieter area of the restaurant, we were seated in a two top right at the edge of the dining room but actually in the bar. Know if they seat you here, it will be loud as I honestly felt I was in the middle of several conversations of people standing between me and the bar, mostly men, and talking VERY loudly! When I asked about changing tables I was told the other tables were reserved so that was that. The restaurant did fill up at around 7pm so the excuse was true. We started with an appetizer seafood platter that was delicious! Garlic and butter everywhere! And the bread basket that they brought had so much goodness in it, I had to stop myself from eating it as I would never have been able to eat my entree. Speaking of entrees- I had the lamb chops. Perfectly prepared and wonderfully tender. I laughed as I was daintily cutting the meat off the bone when the manager wandered by and yelled "pick em up" and when I said I usually don't do that unless I'm with family he said, "consider us your family!". Nice touch. My dining companion had the "Sunday Feast" which seriously was a HUGE plate of food with a meatball, pork rib, sausage, pasta, and a scoop of ricotta all covered in an amazing red sauce! it smelled wonderful! And since it was my birthday, I was presented a tiramisu with a roman candle in it which made for some great birthday video! All in all a nice birthday evening. Was it a splurge? Yep. But for the quality and quantity of the food it was worth it. Now I just have to figure out where the best table to sit at is in this place!

Love this place! Food and service were fantastic! The chicken parmigiana is maybe the best I've had in a long time and their spicy vodka rivals that of Carbone's. The aesthetic is a very fun- Sopranos vibe with live music playing in the main dinning room starting at 8pm each night. My fiancé and I went with two other couples and ordered quite a few different dishes and they were all so good! They started us off with bread for the table and we put in our appetizer order of calamari, table side Caesar and an off menu special of fiocchetti pasta. For our entrees we had their chicken parmigiana, their chicken vodka parmigiana (amazing) and their filet mignon along with two orders of their spicy rigatoni vodka and two orders of their malfadine cacio e Pepe. As for the best part, we ended the night with a slice of their pistachio dream and their chocolate cake- so good! Highly recommend for a fun night out.

My partner decided to treat me to dinner for my 80th birthday at Anthony's Runway 84. I hadn't been there in over a decade. Since I was there last, they have recently completely remodeled the entire place. The décor is now eye pleasing pleasant and up to date. When we arrived we received a warm greeting and were escorted to our reserved booth seating next to the bar. Unfortunately, the bar was so crowded and so loud we could hardly hold a conversation. It was also annoying having these bar people bumping our table with their backsides. We checked other tables but the whole place was just a packed noisy mess. You should be advised that Anthony's Runway 84 has a dress code. So, you best spiff it up. No shorts, tank tops, flip-flops or the like. For Italian, the menu doesn't amount to anything special. It just has the usual Italian suspects such as chicken parmigiana, a veal scallopini done Marsala, Francese, or parmigiana. For seafood, a whole branzino, swordfish, local snapper, and a zuppa di pesca amongst some others. We started off with the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio which was served in excellent presentation and tasted every bit as good as it looked. Recalling how great their Pomodoro sauce was years ago, I ordered their Regatoni 'Filetto di Pomodoro,' and Wow! It's better than ever. The most vibrantly tasty Pomodoro sauce ever. My partner went for the Linguini & Clams which came loaded with delicious clams in a most tasty white sauce. Then, as it was my birthday, a nice little cake with a sparkling flair. Overall, a good meal, wonderfully tasty but the atmosphere with the loud noises of the crowds just sort of ruined it.

One of the most iconic restaurants in Broward County family owned since 1982. This is the place you go to eat quality food and drink cocktails at the bar with your friends. Valet parked the vehicle for $5 with no issues. Walked in at our 6pm reservation and seated immediately. By 7pm every table was filled. Our waiter was super professional and explained some of the specialty items for the evening. I ordered crusted Snapper with wine sauce. The wife ordered Veal Francese. The food arrived within 15 minutes. Both meals were crazy tasty. For dessert we had a delish Tiramisu. The bathroom was very clean.
